Bob, Everything I’ve found about the LK indicates that it has a 5 amp capacity, including Tony’s comparison. I had a Zypher myself, but sent it back to get a Lenz Set This normally occurs if I decide to change locos on the cartridges.

I have an oval of track with a crossover diagonally across the centre. This is what I know so far: I have tried adjusting the potentiometer on the LK, but it makes no difference.

There was another thread a month or so back which involved PSXs Can you adjust the speed with which the PSX-1 reacts to slow it down a little? Site sponsored by Gargoyle. As far as you exchanging your Zephyr for a 90, that’s your prerogative. The diagonal is much longer than the train, so is not shorting at each end. I rather use a Digitrax booster than one of their “reversers”. I too use PSX’s but mine were bought some time ago. It looks like a better quality, higher capacity version of the MRC to me.
It is kicking in before the LK can change the polarity.
