The C Programming Language 1st ed. Don’t read any further until you have this book! Sure, it does cover the important aspects of C, but it’s very shallow, never going into details. Thanks for telling us about the problem.
You can circle back to this one later if you’re really hooked. Because the book was co-authored by the original language designer, and because the first edition of the book served for many years as the de facto standard for the language, the book was regarded by lijguaggio to be the authoritative reference on C.
