It does have some cool pieces to learn, but I haven’t had much success in building up to them. I’m an acoustic brasol for the most part, so I really just wanted to get the pick in there. They inspire the student to realize the full potential of the written exercises.
This book is decent, but the CD is impossible to use along with the book. At least that makes it a bit more musical.
