Today I’m upping that rating to 3 stars. I even borrowed the book from my friend but I never got around to reading it.

This is achieved through the use of brainwashing, intimidation, and power over the more simple-minded animals on the farm. If you haven’t read this book and yet, I highly recommend you do. Perhaps because of the ridiculous amount of research I did on this topic, I couldn’t stand to see it distilled down into such simplistic terms.
And also, I think it’ll be funny to read it after seeing so many live-action talking pig movies like Babe and Charlotte’s Web. Several of his neologisms, along with the term “Orwellian” — now a byword for any oppressive or manipulative social phenomenon opposed to a free society — have entered the vernacular.

We were unable to find this edition in any bookshop we are able to search.
