Unfortunately, there’s a very creative assassin, too, and discword Auditors are egging him on they really should know better from their last plot.
These scenes are ridiculously cosy, sentimental and funny, with lessons about what children really want for Christmas, the crassness of certain types of charity, a barrage of Chrimbo imagery and ‘the true meaning of the season’.
Lord Downey Tony Robinson Teatime employs five criminals, a wizard and a locksmith in his mission.
It’s just a delight. As they return to the Gaiter’s house, Teatime follows them in and contemplates trying to kill Death. The bogeyman collected teeth to stop people from controlling the children.
Actually, I finished it while I was doing my cardio at the gym, and people must have thought I had a few screws loose, laughing as I was on the treadmill for, at least to them, no reason at all. This is the 20th Discworld novel so, technically, I’ve read this out of order I haven’t read 19 yet but it being Christmas made me and my fellow buddy-readers mix it up a little because it was too good an opportunity to pass up. Which is not a bad thing at all.

Especially the peeing pig and idscworld long that joke is dragged out for. It was to this point that he retreated when ambushed by Mr Teatime. To be the place where the falling angel meets the rising ape. Pratchett at his best with better insights in to humanity than anyone else.
