I was already irritated because the way the story was being set up was that we the human readers are supposed to be rooting for the body-snatching, world cleansing aliens because they are “good” and we are supposed to be seeing the human resistance as bad because humanity as presented in this book is incapable of respecting and taking good care of our beautiful planet.
I had to explain everything to them afterwards because in the movie they took out all the background information! It’s not your body!

This book could have easily been for about pages if the author didn’t use the pages unnecessarily on how the heroine was feeling and all. Then you can start reading Kindle books on your smartphone, tablet, or computer – no Kindle device required. I was set to be disappointed by this one in the beginning but it’s one of my favorites now.
To make things go as planned and to protect Souls, Souls placed Seekers to be something like a police for them.

Questions of whether humans deserve to live on when we are so cruel to each other, and waste resources etc. I am having so much trouble reading this book, and who am I to judge? You tell him I said no chance in hell! Stephenoe makes someone who they are?
When I read about the book last year, I assumed the aliens are aggressive and cruel and descarggar humans would be portrayed as humane and vulnerable. So creative idea, but the delivery and details didn’t quite hit the mark. Then we are supposed to see that is wrong through Wanda’s eyes. The earth has been invaded by a species that take over the minds of human hosts while leaving their bodies intact.

Good Lord I was so wrong, so, so wrong. Wanderer is led to the life and people Melanie left behind.
I really did enjoy this book. I would love to see what happens next and enjoy another adventure with these wonderful characters. Towards the end, even Melanie loves Wanda. If she honestly felt bad she would give Mel her body back and not refer to the body stephnie “hers”. I enjoyed reading the whole book.
This is a great story about the human spirit. Ian is one of my favorite characters in this book. These “souls” come to stephenle and take over the bodies of mankind, living peacefully as they experience the new world around them. If I didn’t know who SM was, I wouldn’t even bother to read after page 10, it was that boring and uninspired.
