But Grubbs seems to be more into his demonatta than Bill-E. All in all a nice read, although I’m reading it more for the action and the other characters than for Grubbs.
It continues after the events of slawter and follows Grubbs Grady’s day to day life of being a teenager, dealing with the aftermath of what has happened to him and a possible new threat of a change in himself.
There wasn’t much dekonata on on this book actually, I did get some cool descriptions and feeling of being a werewolf.
But the guy cant fuckin express his feelings. When our dear Grubbitch kisses Reni, he goes outta control. I can never get enough of his stories. It’s like, Beranabus is back, Bec is partially back, Juni is back. Instead of consulting Dervish, the boys go straight to exploring.

It is a great series and beadt everybody to read it. Cliffhangers aside, I don’t have a bad word to say about Blood Beast. But roast in hell for 1 hour each for calling Bill-E a sucker. We see his dealing with The fifth book is in my point of view the worst yet.
I force myself to breathe normally, evenly. There was just a lot of prepping you for the demonnata book, setting up a bunch of plotlines, coming together in a massive cliffhanger.

Also, Xemonata as a plant for Lord Loss didn’t really shock me like I expect that it was supposed to. Their relationship has changed and both are dealing with everything they’ve been through, I found these changes really interesting.
I think the more further you get into the story and into the series, you’ll enjoy reading it more and more. Grubbs returns to school, and meets with the new psychologist, Juni Swan, whom he had previously met in Slawter.
