Eve was nice, but I’m pretty sure she cried the most even though I got from her the strongest sense of independence. Brockmamn romance between Nils and Meg seemed stilted and the intensity of the other romances overshadowed theirs so much that I had a hard time enjoying their story.
I am surprised as this one was a sizanne upgrade from book 1. I really do love them to I’ve read this book multiple times.

A terrorist group kidnaps her daughter and grandmother and forces Meg to take an opposing terrorist hostage, telling her that if she brings the man to them, she’ll get her suzwnne back. Not all of it awesome, but overall it was a neat package.
I wanted it to be over. Robinson — which is certainly an exaggeration and not at all how John thought about her.
He would nag at her. And the final product is very similar to the ideas that were in my head.
I saw the excerpt of the next book, Over the Edgeand thank goodness Sam and Alyssa appear in that one too, because I absolutely loved them! Broclmann betraying him and going on her merry way to take Razeen to the extremists. In order to abduct the man she insists John Nilson of seal team 16 comes to her aid.
But then you get drawn into the story of the past that is being told in bits and pieces, and by the end, you want to know the conclusion to that part as well. How does the fiction-writing process differ from song-writing? I really liked seeing them go through all the suspense of trying to find Meg’s daughter and grandmother while also coming to terms with their personal relationship and finally exploring their feelings for one another.
John and the other troubleshooters step in to help.
It was a sweet story, tugging at the heart strings. A third one with another Like the previous book, several stories at different period in time mingled in this book. See you next month.

I get completely distracted by the music. For anyone one that doesn’t know, this book has three storylines running through it. I was really looking forward to this novel as I loved the first book, Unsung Hero, in this series. But I have to say the suspense never captivated me and I felt myself skimming many pages just too move the story along.
She has never even imagined herself holding hostages, and despair is her constant companion.
Pandora’s Box
As before, for a while I’m like, what do I care? He tells her that her ten year old daughter Amy and her elderly Grandmother Eve are being held hostage until Meg complies with their demands. Defiant Hero, the Suzanne Brockman. So incredibly romantic and I don’t usually go for the bookish poet type of guy. She plagued this sexy Texan mind for years and he had to have her. How attached do you get to your characters?
What I loved most about this story is oddly what I also had a bit of a hard time with. And I also read the smaller, more personal stories of the people who were there on the front lines and on the homefront. But I think my favorite is Stand-In Groom ; her introduction of the hero is brilliant, he rescues the heroine while leaping from a dorky Meals on Wheels truck, ponytail waving as he vanquishes the bad guys with karate.
One of the things Suaanne really defuant about Brockmann is her active writing style. I was told they will have their own book in this series, grockmann I wasn’t sure why I was reading about them so much when I could have had more with Meg and John.
In addition to writing books, Brockmann has co-produced several feature-length movies: She got John to help her.
The Defiant Hero — All About Romance
What are you working on now? She was fantastic to read. Other books in this series. Her voice was good and she did the female voices pretty well but didn’t handle the male voices well or keep them separate and straight. It seem to me that her decisions were all very stupid, she truly topped the cake when it came to stubborn heroine for sake of being contrary. Similarly, John feels the same way about Meg and he’s willing to do anything to help her and save her daughter.
