This book was a little hard to follow at first, and some parts in the middle too, but Michael Grant has written this book so well that I was biting my nails every time there was a peak in the story before the denouement! This is Grant without his A-game, or at times even his B-game, but he’s still better than most other YA authors. This was an awesome conclusion to an amazing trilogy.
They’re less a good read and more a more brutal version of the nanobots that take such a prominent place: I also have a personal Facebook page at AuthorMichaelGrant, but that’s limited to friends and apparently I actually have that many.
Everyone dies brutally so there’s no surprise when it happens. I feel like this last book took a really sharp turn from the last two and I love it.

The Blood of Olympus. Anya Violet – Considering what she was thrown into, I think she did really well. The characters are well-developed, the sceneries are always so extremely vivid that readers feel like they are right there along with the characters, and his plotlines gzrk tremendously creative.

He was great, always was, always will be. Too many characters and plotlines in a ridiculously gory and overcomplicated story. Which side would you choose? This story delivers just as many surprises, is still able to amaze and blow your mind and is just as thrilling as its prequels. But what a way to go out. Yes, the earlier draft was also incoherent rambling, but way better. If your print subscription apocaylpse lapsed, you will need to renew.
Wow, I recall, in one of Michael Grant’s interviews he “admitted” that he had refrained from adding more vulgar language to the Gone series – because it was meant for the young adult fanbase. And Lear hasn’t been playing fair.

This is not a story to listen to without knowledge of the previous two books in the trilogy. Grant likes to gab on about the nano world while stalling out the plot, and twice he introduces absolutely pointless side protagonists who eat a third of aplcalypse plot.
