Although this book’s primary focus is on four-note chord voicings on the middle strings of the guitar, much of the knowledge conveyed here can be appreciated and used by willmort jazz musicians, not only guitarists. I strongly recommend this class for people coming to grips with more ideas for voicings.
I’m so happy that I took this class. I’d recommend him for jazz guitarists.
And I’m sure his ideas have influenced many, many more great contemporary guitar players. Can’t apply everything immediately but that’s how it is. No Would Take Again: His classes and lessons are most often attended by advanced students and have included Berklee alumni Bill FrisellWolfgang Muthspiel, and Kurt Rosenwinkel. The best part of this book, however, is the unique and practical way the author takes modern harmonic concepts and shows you how to apply willmoty in real music situations! His classes, at least guitarmony, are definitely the kind where you get out what you put in. His lecture is easy to understand, even if you are not a jazz guy.
He has taught Bill Frisell and Kurt Rosenwinkel, willmptt many other great guitar players. We’re all counting on you. Please get in touch with us personally if you have any questions.
