Four students have already read it and recommended it to friends. I don’t mind serials. The book has a great opening and has many attention grabbing scenes. Blood Ninja By Nick Lake.
And tell him if he wants me to spare his life, he had better send Taro next time, not some weakling of an ordinary ninja. As a reader and a lover of the Japanese culture, I almost instantly appreciated Lake’s eye for detail.

This book introduced me to a lot of Japanese history and politics. Nothing of the major, or even the minor. Price may vary by retailer. Taro’s struggle with his perceptions and own morality were really well done in this book. Taro saved Hiro’s life and now Hiro and he are inseparable.
