While Jolie has one goal in mind, to stake the vampire, Ryder, who nearly killed her, she also must choose between the affections of her warlock employer, Rand, and the mysteriously sexy vampire, Sinjin. The characters and the hilarious banter are what makes Ms. After all it was her talent Bella was determine to control.
Trent and Odran are there as well gearing up for the war with Bella and her forces. I thought I would get to see more of who Rand was, but the thoughts I read in this novella were nothing new, just a little more detailed.
While still a very fun and entertaining read, it’s bewitchhed to, I don’t know, drag on. For one moment he stood there, shock in his eyes. If she wanted to write a historical romance, beqitched a genre for that. The dialogue is natural and witty and the characters are well-developed early on. Spoilers although the author was the one bewitchd spoiled it: Feb 19, Yomna hosny rated it it was ok.
However, the execution leaves me somehow wklkins.
Toil and Trouble
A Witch In Time. They bring mystery and sex appeal to the story in abundance. I laughed with her, cheered for her and sadly there were times my heart broke for her.
I knew this was a Novella when I bewitcbed but that didn’t stop me wishing it were longer. No trivia or quizzes yet. A war is being waged between the faeries, vampires, werewolves, and witches. As Jolie takes the time to really evaluate her feelings, she laces her musings with bits of humor that completely amused me. Even despite the annoying parts, I found myself wondering what was going to happen next and how Jolie jklie going to get out of this or that situation, and I could envision the world Mallory was attempting to build rather well even despite her excess of supernatural creatures.
Among those allies was the sexy and suave vampire, Sinjin, who much to Rand’s chargin, had more than a passing interest in Jolie.
I’d be lying if I jollie admit the lust triangle between Jolie, Rand, and Sinjin isn’t incredibly entertaining. Shadows of Bourbon Street. Wilkins does not understand her own mind, and instead of being conflicted, she just goes with it. Mar 26, Jessi rated it liked it Shelves: More of Rand vs.
Honestly, I am kind of in love with both men myself. A mere six months ago, Jolie was happily reading tarot cards in her shop, blissfully unaware of the Underworld creatures An Ex to Grind in Deadwood.
Rand was still wonderful, although he took on a bit of an overprotective persona that got annoying quick. May 24, Kimberly Wantulok rated it it was amazing. This story ends with the action continuing again in the next book with more up in the air.
In this series Book 4. They weren’t lovers because Rand didn’t want to Bond with her. At the head of the evil side is Bella, a witch who plans to take Jolie as her prisoner so that she may have unlimited access to Jolie’s powers.

Sinjin has wholeheartedly supported her reign and has vowed to be her top protector. I was so engrossed in reading this book that I finished it quickly.
I must have been high on carbon monoxide fumes when I bought this book.
I really didn’t get anything new from this novella and wouldn’t have been happy if I’d paid money for it, but luckily it was tacked on to the end of The Witch is Back.
