Does the “Sleeping Geauty Trilogy” have any literary merit? Of course these books have from time to time been banned. I love dirty books! Beauty’s slavery is delicious, sensuous, abandoned, and ultimately liberating.
This is not the result of neglect – she deliberately sends him to people she knows will brutally, serially rape him. In one, the hot prince Laurent is forced to become a “pony” after misbehaving. Now Beauty, having indulged in a aan and forbidden infatuation with the rebellious slave Prince Tristan, is sent away from the Satyricon-like world of the Castle.
I was not offended or disgusted. To ask other readers questions about Sleeping Beauty Trilogyplease sign up.
The entire book is literally all of these fucked up people telling her that they are making her better, that they are helping her, that they are giving her what she deserves. I didn’t feel even the slightest connection with any of them. The Prince who claims her professes to be obsessed with her, that he loves her like no other, yet is the one who begins the rape, abuse and sleepinf.
Dazzled by the rigors of the Training Hall, the Hall of Beautty, the ordeal of the Bridle Path, and her own mounting passion to please, Beauty remained the undisputed favorite of the Prince and the delight of her sometime Mistress, the lovely young Lady Juliana. I only knew that I wanted to “be with the vampire” in the story, tell it from his point of view.

I skipped what little bit of the plot was there. The chapters written from the perspective of Beauty’s male friends are roquelaur astoundingly graphic I remember them to this day.
The Anne Rice Boo I said, well, look, try this. And also the writing was superb and I really like Anne Rice’s choice of words. I read this set years ago and yet even today it sends chills and awakens my private area’s. Winter had previously approached Anne in regarding such plans that did not materialize at the time.
The Claiming of Sleeping Beauty
It felt closer to pure, unadulterated rage. I’m a firm believer in “different strokes for different folks”.
But he did not believe it until he was inside the castle. The setting also seemed deliberately dreamy and fairy-tale like in all three books and that just added to the dramatic changes in the protagonist’s frame of thought.
Well they are wrong.

One of my GR friends said she read it and the 2nd book only gets worse–my question is: A prince comes and bestows his lovingly affections to the lovely princess. Both end up gaining some sort of affection for their masters and their firm discipline. I have finished book one, “The Claiming of Beauty”, in 2 days. An extravagant, tantalizing read full of over-the-top sexual scenes of the most hardcore persuasion, but also full of a very honest and remarkably insightful study in mentality for the protagonists involved, that I found utterly interesting and well-shaped.
Men love these sorts of fantasies as much as women. View all 73 comments.
I totally dig trashy, nasty, dirty romance novels, especially the ones that use ridiculous words roquleaure tumescent, which is what I expected this book to be–with a fairy tale context.
